Eyes

There was a pit of pity and sad,
Wallowing in it, there was nothing to be glad.
Even during this miracle of death and re-birth..
Something was amiss with all the empty thirst.


Then suddenly the eyes looked at me!
Suddenly into an ecstatic abyss I could see!!
What do I speak of, what do is sing about??
Where do I begin and how loud to yell and shout??

For in those eyes was the answer to the my quest!!
Greens and browns, or blue and grey create this blanket...
All the sad and pity in world go underground, for
This blanket makes peace and love abound!!!

In those eyes, my soul will rest.
In that last moment, without math or test.
What did I do to deserve such dual delights?
I thank the invisible every time I see this sight.

Smiling at me, full of life and innocence,
Laughing 'bout silly dogs and boy crushes in abundance.
Teaching me new meanings of responsibility and respect..
The lonely pit of sad now is only for losers and rejects.

These two wonderful beings of purity and glee.
Give me this one gift, if its the last and the very best!!!
Let me live in those eyes and never lose the key to happiness.
