Fear

After all mess,

Added pressure, stress..

Of broken bonds

And hurtful rants,

With respect lacking, 

Contempt packing..

Many weekends grim,

Others glee-less, slim.

Couple in love

Years ago, now in hate.

Inseperable yet suffocating,

Curse choices, curse fate.

Choking with despise,

Nagging, end so near

Yearning for freedom

Yet bridled with fear.

Fear of lonely, wretched,

Dark, friendless void..

Shackles too strong

Afraid of breaking dawn..

Fear broken promises,

Fruitless fancy, and trolls

Fear envelopes all hope,

Fear survives, strangling soul.
